Adrian Whatley

Group Chief Operating Officer – Crew Management - Global

A qualified Chartered Accountant for over 19 years, Adrian has gained experience working as a CA in one of Australia’s top 4 accounting and auditing firms plus a 3 year stint in London working for various European Banks. Adrian additionally worked for an Australian publically listed transport and logistics provider before joining the ASP Ship Management Group as the Group Accountant in 2004.  

In June 2007 Adrian was appointed to his current role as Group Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the finance function and staffing across all geographical locations.  In addition Adrian is responsible for all IT systems.

Adrian is an Executive Director on the Board of all ASP’s operating companies and additionally oversees the ASP Group’s various crewing entities.  Adrian’s focus is on providing tailored report packaging to meet client needs and on developing and retaining a pool of highly experienced seafarers to meet ASP’s expanding fleet. 

Adrian is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
